Doepfer’s A-188-1D is an analog delay module that can be used to achieve a variety of different effects. It excels at Karplus/Strong style synthesis, delay effects, chorus, flanger, and much more. While useful as an analog delay, the module is also capable of the kind of self-oscillation characteristic of bucket brigade devices.

The module features a total of 4,096 delay stages, a flexible high frequency internal clock, a delay clock with dedicated input/output and CV control, an external feedback input, and both CV and feedback switches.
