Electro-Faustus Astral Whip

The Electro-Faustus Noise Devices Astral Whip builds on a time-tested instrument while implementing some distinctly modern enhancements. Inspired by the Bullroarer, an ancient ritualistic instrument used for communicating across considerable distances, the device perpetrates an array of distinct and naturalistic sounds. Electro-Faustus has successfully amalgamated the Bullroarer’s age-old design with modern Whirly Tubes (sometimes referred to as Corrugaphones or Bloogle Resonators).

Despite the additions, the Astral Whip still functions in the same way as its predecessor: users can simply swing it over their heads to produce an array of sounds. What’s more, this particular design features an internal microphone, enabling the sounds to be amplified and processed with external gear, including guitar pedals, Eurorack modules, synthesizers, and an array of other devices.
