Building on the original Kross’s legacy, Korg’s Kross 2 is a workstation with many sonic possibilities. The 61-key keybed feels great under your fingers and is responsive to the touch. With over 1,000 onboard presets, it’s easy to find the right sound for the job.

Instruments include classical grand pianos, organs, pad synths, and even drum machine packs. Control the parameters of these sounds with the realtime control section’s simple to use interface. Record samples up to 14 seconds long from the line in jacks and assign them to the 16 sampling pads. The synthesizer engine has 120 note polyphony, while the sample pads support playing up to four samples at once. The Enhanced Definition Synthesis-integrated sound engine provides a comprehensive selection of effects. Use up to seven effects at once with five inserts and two master effects that add extra character to your sound.

Sequence all your sounds with the 16-track MIDI sequencer and arpeggiator that makes creating a melodic line as easy as holding down a few notes. Over 700 preset drum patterns provide rhythmic accompaniment to your playing. If you’re without power, use six AA batteries for up to seven hours of playing time. Save and recall up to 128 of your favorite and most used presets. Use the Kross as a USB audio interface to connect directly to your DAW, or edit parameters with the dedicated Kross 2 editor. The Kross 2 comes loaded with a vast selection of sounds, effects, and sequencing possibilities that make it a superb workstation.
