PO-33 K.O., from Teenage Engineering’s Pocket Operator series, is a micro sampler boasting a 40 second sample memory and featuring an integrated recording microphone. Essentially, users can sample limitless sound sources using the unit’s microphone or routing an external mic through the K.O.’s input. From there, activating melodic mode enables the realization of chromatic melodies, while delving into drum mode lets users play and sequence drums with the ability to layer additional effects.
