The Yamaha P-125a is an 88-key digital piano that offers naturalistic playing response and high-quality piano sound. It has 88 weighted keys that feature heavier action in lower keys and lighter action in higher keys, like an acoustic piano. The Damper Resonance DSP captures the sound of a grand piano with the dampers off the strings. The four layers of CF sampling allow for more dynamic playing.

Other features include Sound Boost EQ, USB MIDI, stereophonic optimization, duo mode for splitting the keyboard, on-board speakers, metronome, and preset drum tracks. Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app allows you to control every parameter from your iOS device and even allows you the P-125a to automatically generate chord charts from songs in your music library. It features twenty four voices including piano, electric piano, organ, string, and clavichord/vibraphone with the ability to layer multiple voices at the same time.
